Dear Coronial Couples,

The need for the hour is that we all stay strong and keep our humanity alive! With millions of people fighting with this deadly disease, it seems like there is no hope left but also don’t forget, sometimes happiness can be found even in the darkest of hours.

We know how hard it is to see the world crumble, suddenly when everything seemed so whimsical, you were ready to start a new chapter in your life. You were about to live your dreamy wedding tales. You had plans to laugh, wink, clink the wine glasses, go crazy on your last day as a bachelor, you were experiencing high voltage drama in your life as well as in your mind, you were starting to get those goosebumps thinking,” This is it! My big day has arrived. I am about to taste the bliss of married life.” THRASH!!! All of a sudden you hear that the second wave of the corona has hit and this time it is deadlier and a strict lockdown has been reinforced.

We understand you are going through a turmoil of emotions. You feel overwhelmed, confused, frustrated, you have no idea how to react as all your wedding plans have been halted! You must be thinking out of all the years why this one, the year you chose to marry why did it have to be the same. We accept the fact that this year has been crazy. But remember you are not alone in this. A lot of couples are facing the same kind of anxiety. Calm down and remember this too shall pass

We can’t say everything is going to get back the way it was before. But there is a catch, we all are in this together. A lot of you have put a temporary injunction to your wedding plans and some of you have decided to go on with the holy union with just the immediate family members. No matter what you have decided just remember that this is one of a lifetime memory, make your decision wisely. Whenever you look back there shouldn’t be any heavy sign in your heart.

Don’t let people’s suggestions cloud your mind and judgement while deciding about the most crucial part of your life.

Let’s give you some crazy ideas! If you are planning to opt for an intimate affair, see the bright side! You would be tying the knot with people who really care about you, who are there to witness the holy union of the bride and groom. Not just for the sake of gossip, free wine and scrumptious food. They are here to be a part of your big day. If you still want a grand celebration, when the situation gets better; plan a grand reception, one that bedazzles every eye that attends the event. Or with the money saved you can plan a long getaway, an exotic honeymoon.

Whatever you choose, we only want to remind you that love has the power to conquer all. Believe in your love, it will help you through this tough time, it will help you to make some tough calls ahead. No matter what, in the end, you will be relishing the chapter of your new life with the love of your life. You will need to be positive, create new plans, adjust some parameters. After all what’ an Indian Wedding without some Wedding Tamasha.
